U.S. House Likely to Pass Perm Normal Trade Relations w/ Russia

The House likely will pass legislation this week to restore permanent normal trade relations with Russia, a measure that has strong support from the business community and economists, bringing it one step closer to implementation.

... Yet some trade experts expressed reservations about the enforcement mechanism.

Bill Reinsch, president of the National Foreign Trade Council, told MNI Wednesday the business community is concerned but has refrained from objecting to the measures "in the interest of getting the bill passed."
